I have a question for you. I wanna know your thoughts. Which race(s) would attack the Federation in the 2380's?
Author: Currently Unknown. Author Not Mentioned On Website. Rating: 18+ Warning/Disclaimer: Explicit Sexual Content And Graphic Violence.
"Star Trek: Deep Seed 9" (Parts 1-to-3) A "Star Trek:DS9" / "Simpsons" Crossover Written by Tuvok of WWOEC Forums. WARNING: Explicit / Mature Content. Document Written + Published in MS Word. Parental Guidance Strongly Suggested. RATING: NC-17 / 18+
Timeline: 2366 (Season 3 of "S.T.: TNG") Authors: Jason K.Hauck and Amanda Cress of Heroine X Forums. A modest exploratory vessel is diverted to assess the needs of a colony gone radio silent. The crew discovers a non-corporeal alien race of isolationists, (The Sree) that have taken the colony's inhabitants (descendants of the Sree's original Human contacts,) as the Federation's ambassadors. It becomes clear upon meeting the Belfast's away team, that the Vulcans weren't the *original* alien race to make First Contact.
Synopsis: I saw a post at Trek Writers Guild (in the "Work In Progress" Forum) from "Gabinka" (a.k.a. Philippe de la Matraque) about two story concepts. One a reverse Roswell story, where the crew of the Enterprise are the aliens, titled "Alien Us". And, an untitled Hoshi/Reed not-quite-shipper idea (which I'm calling "To Have And To Hold".) The gist of the second idea is that Hoshi & Reed (while on different continents,) develop a certain closeness during and/or immediately following a disaster that somehow parallels past experieces from pre-Enterprise (I assume, civilian) life. I decided I would give the Reed/Hoshi idea a try.

*NEW* A new contribution by Doug Kulp, Author of "Star Trek: Screaming Rebel". Doug is a recent defector from Trek Writers' Guild. The Screaming Rebel is a civilian ship (280 metres in length, 70 metres depth and 110 metres wide,) with a quirky crew. Doug begins his adventure with Ezekiel Campbell, (or "Skipper" as he is frequently referred to,) formerly the C.O. of the Galaxy-Class U.S.S. Edison, but drummed-out of Starfleet for violating the Prime Directive. Much of "Samaritan's Dilemma" is focused on Ezekiel confronting the impact of this sin. He also has a midget chief engineer, a maid from a primitive culture, a farm boy, two cybernetic hackers, and even an Andorran Security officer who fancies himself an Elvis Impersonator. This should be an interesting crew to keep an eye on. [Samaritan's Dilemma, Part 2 (Commission)] [Samaritan's Dilemma, Part 3 (Soul Overboard)] [Part 4: "The Prime Directive, Challenged"] [Part 5: "The Voice Of Memories] [The Screaming Rebel (Series Bible / Tech Manual)] [Samaritan's Dilemma, Part 4. (Withhold Not Good From Those To Whom It Is Due)] Author: Doug Kulp.
["Star Trek: Vonnegut" (Beyond Heaven's River)] Story prologue that eventually evolved into the "Exeter" story. James T. Kirk is cajoled from quasi-retirement to command a frankenstein fleet Osiris-Class (TNG Relaunch Era NX-Class-meets-Miranda-Class) cruiser, the U.S.S. Vonnegut intended to bolster the fleet, after significant Federation losses to Dominion & Borg incursions.
30 December 2383: Amidst bureaucratic confusion, old friends and family from the Enterprise and Deep Space 9 petition Cardassian authorities to rescue Thomas Riker from genetic experiments being performed on him by The Obsiddian Order on Lazon II. After he's granted clemency, He's then redeployed on a Kirov-Class border patrol ship. That cruiser is suddenly attacked, destroyed, & its' C.O. + crew left stranded on a nearby world. After being rescued from the site of his escape pod, Thomas is unexpectedly recruited by a desperate Starfleet Command as Kirk's newest First Officer. A follow-up to the "Star Trek: DS9" episode "Defiant".
6 November 2380: Captain Elise Donovan of the Loknar-Class (TMP Era Refit) gunship Damascus finds herself up against a resurrection of The Hur'q, an ancient race of would-be conquerors driven from The Klingon Empire a thousand years ago. Also, very recently encountered by the Sovereign-Class U.S.S. Sentinel and a Typhon-Class mobile headquarters. (Please see, "Star Trek: Invasion")
2 July 2378: Captain Morgan Bateson and the crew of the Osiris-Class U.S.S. Vonnegut stumble-upon a discrete colony of long lost (sleeper ship-era) Humans that doesn't make any sense.
30 October 2380: A Starfleet Axis-Class border cutter (U.S.S. Geneva) is infiltrated by a member of Species 8472 whom has taken on the humanoid form of a deceased colonist from a tragically-downed Raven-Class transport.
